Today I passed my driving test and felt a lot about how I did it. Irrespective to my knowledge of driving that my instructor has given me and the practice that is prerequisite to pass a driving test, we need something else to know. Especially the person who feels nervous and shaky on the test day, must read these tips. The driving test is different from other theory tests that we could pass by rote learning to some extent. In driving test, we need a lot of practice and understanding as well as common sense. It is also a test of your anxiety level if you are a B.P. or heart patient. I assume that you have practiced a lot and ready for the test from an instructors point of view. Now you need to know something else to make sure that everything is fine. So the tips are as under:
1. It is very important to control your anxiety as it may cause you to make mistakes unnecessarily. So to prevent, you may take anti depressant pills or recite holy verses. You may do whatever works for you to lessen the anxiety in the time of the test.
2. You are likely to concentrate on your examiner personality if you think about him. So to be on the safe side, let the examiner, speak with you while not having any eye contact with him. Preferably think, nobody is sitting with you and you are hearing the voice from radio or any other machine. This will help you to focus on driving skills only.
3. If you could book your test on day when schools are closed, you may not find lots of traffic on your way. This will reduce your attention level and probably less mistakes. The same is true with the time when public usually stays at home or in the office. The more rush hours, the more chances to make mistakes.
4. On test day, avoid anything new. The usual dress that you have been wearing in ordinary days, especially while having driving lessons, would make you feel better.
5. Step by step. This tip is very useful for the people who focus on their mistakes adversely and forget their progress. So if you think you have made a mistake, forget, and go ahead with new task given. Otherwise, there are chances that you will make another big mistake and fail.
6. Pray, pray and pray. If you believe in God, please pray a lot. Your pray with your practice will never fail.
7. It is usually good to have a driving lessen just before starting your test to warm up. The instructors should not criticize harshly even if they find some silly mistakes of their students on the test day. Their harsh observation could shatter the confidence in the student and he/she might fail as a result.
8. One must have good sleep, healthy food, and a good rest before the test. Otherwise tired eyes could not focus on driving very much.
9. If you think that you have to drive to drive only, not to pass the test, then you may pass. If you think that you have to pass the test only, then it is up to you, how you drive, then you may fail. So your thoughts about driving must be positive and straight, not confusing and negative.
10. The last but not the least, comes the law of attraction. You must not be ready for failure. You must believe that you are going to pass it today by the grace of all mighty. You must believe that you will get fortune today and that a fortune is your right for your right driving. You must say, “ thank you God for passing your test”, even before giving it. There is no limitation for the universe to fulfill your desire, so why not today!
Thanks
