Susan Stewart has been bringing order and style to her surroundings for as long as she can remember and is gifted with the unique combination of creativity and organization. Although she has always been passionate about organizing and decorating, she pursued several other endeavors before beginning Perfectly Placed.
Susan received her bachelor's degree in Human Development and the Family from the University of Nebraska and completed graduate courses in the area of counseling at Covenant Theological Seminary. Before becoming a professional organizer, Susan taught and directed preschool and coached gymnastics as well as being a full time mom. She believes her studies and work in these areas have helped her with her organizational skills, her abilities to understand the needs of families, and her ability to teach organizing principles to others.
Susan is a member of the National Association of Professional Orgnizers-Arizona chapter. She served as the Membership Director and was the recipient of the 2007 Founders Award for her work on Destination Organization. After relocating to St. Louis, MO in 2011, Susan now serves both Phoenix, AZ and St. Louis, MO with hands on organizing services.
Susan has been married to Travis for 20 years and has 2 children, Laura (15) and Spencer (13). She is a breast cancer survivor and often shares her story with others to give them hope that they too can survive this disease. When Susan isn't working or spending time with her family, she enjoys ice skating, shopping and having coffee with friends.
Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task.
