PAMELA LEVIN, R.N., is an award winning author, nutritional journalist and world renowned innovator in the fields of physical and emotional health. She draws on over 40 years’ professional experience in her health consulting practice in Northern California. She combines knowledge gleaned from over 500 post-graduate hours in clinical nutrition, herbology and applied kinesiology with emotioanal counseling skills as a Certified Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst.
She is a graduate of the University Of Illinois, and studied Transactional Analysis (TA) with its founder, Eric Berne. She was the first nurse to be awarded Clinical, then Teaching Membership in its international organization. She applies her healing knowledge to both physical and emotional healing, and has a special interest in women’s health issues.
For her work on the cyclic process of emotional development, she received the Eric Berne Memorial Scientific Award by the members of the International Transactional Analysis Association. This work is the foundation for a variety of programs on parenting, wellness, and relationship s Her work on the developmental process is the foundation for John Bradshaw's inner child work, book and PBS series, Homecoming.
Her public speaking career includes both professional and lay audiences in ten countries on four continents.She writes a local newspaper column on health and is the editor of a monthly newsletter column that reaches people in 62 countries. Her articles and four books have been translated into 10 languages and have sold over 100,000 copies worldwide, including The Cycle of LIfe, Creating Smooth Passages in Every Life Season and Cycles of Power, a User's Guide to the Seven Seasons of Life.
She is the mother of two and grandmother of two.
