Marie Sullivan has a Master's Degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Western Ontario, where she is currently enrolled in the Media Studies PhD program. She serves on the advisory committee of Schiel & Denver Book Publishers Houston base for author services, including offering self-publishing advise to enable authors to publish a book.
Her main research interest is the epic web directory genre across cultures, media, and languages for the book publisher. Marie's MA thesis sought to define the epic in the context of ancient, medieval, and modern cultural productions. His doctoral dissertation will expand that definition to new media, such as comic books and video games.
Maries's most recent scholarly article, Blam! The Literal Architecture of Sin City, was published in the Fall 2008 issue of the International Journal of Comic Art.
In addition, Marie has spent most of the 2000s writing for the web on a wide variety of topics, such as entertainment, travel, and technology. She loves chess and educational toys and has contributed regularly to numerous sites, including Self Publishing A Book, AskMen.com, Yelp.com, and ConsumerSearch.com. Marie currently is working with an Indian book publishers helping develop work.

Marie is a health-oriented individual, copy-proofer at S&D christian book publishers and love sharing with other people the results of her research about health and wellness. Marie loves traveling, and likes writing essays with a sharp sense of place. She also write poems, non-fiction, and flash fiction. Some of her works have appeared in The Daily Sun (Davao) and The Philippine Free Press.
As a freelance writer, she specializes in travel writing, self-publishing companies, writing product reviews, and copy writing.
