Lois Marie Gacher, a Certified Life Coach and Intuitive Personal Counselor, is the author of "Rise&Shine: A Conscious Way of LIfe." In her ToughLuv Counseling she specializes in her brand of tough love. That means she'll believe you and help you help yourself, but won't enable you to be less than what you can be. She is also the founder of High Esteem Seminars, LLC and CEO of Alphasonics International.

With over 20 years of experience in customer service and self improvement, she's an expert in her field. She has helped hundreds of men and women improve their lives with her special combination of intuitive personal counseling and the unequaled support of Alphasonics subliminal self improvement programs.

Ms Gacher wrote the powerfully transformational book "Rise&Shine: A Conscious Way of Life" after losing her self esteem from years of verbal abuse and finding herself at the bottom. She realized she had to find a new perspective: if you can't change it, find another way to look at it and deal with it. The book became a handbook to do just that and has helped many put their lives back together. "Rise&Shine" is also used in her counselng and her home study course online.

She has a degree in English writing and Philosophy from the University of Connecticut, certification as a Professional Life Coach, and more than 20 years of experience in counseling, self improvement, internet marketing, customer service, sales, management, and has written many articles. She is also one of the contributing authors in Self Growth's "101 Ways to Improve Your Life" series.

Lois Marie's interest in self improvement has led her to devote her life to helping others. She strongly feels a successful future is based on a strong foundational belief in oneself. Her motto is "You must believe in yourself first. All else follows." In order to save this world, our environment, our animals, we must start by healing each person, each heart individually.

She lives and works in the foothills of the Sangre de Christo mountains in northern New Mexico outside of Santa Fe. When she isn't working or writing, her days are filled with the constant antics of her family of feline rescues: Murphy, Mystic, Adora, Merlin, Piper, Houdini and Bear.
