LaVerne considers herself a helper to others. However, she has many unpublished writings since the age of thirteen. She wrote a brochure called “He Sent His Word” and co-authored a training marketing manual. The Attributes of the Man of God was written as a poem, a stage play, and a song that she debuted in her church.
LaVerne was appointed, ‘Who’s Who Among Executives and Professionals’, 2008-2009. She is a award winning Community Service Leader, founder of Campaign for Christ Sunday School program, Community Service Youth Council II, Kidzpluz+, a childhood obesity program, just to name a few of her accomplishments.
Her first anthology book written with eight friends was published spring 2008 subtitle It’s Your Time and co-written with her son Macaiah, Tap Into Your Greatness. Her first christian e-book, Campaigning for Christ 31 Day Affirmations now available. Jan. 2011 she debuted The World's Luckiest Journal which is a multiple award winning journal. This year she teamed up with her dad and son to co-write her mom notes "If Lois Was Here" all books available on Amazon.com
LaVerne grew up in Vidalia GA. & graduated from high school in Blytheville AR. She attended college at Aenon Bible College & Cuyahoga Community College. LaVerne graduated from MCCC & US Career Institute as a Certified Fitness Instructor - Nutrition Specialist and Secretarial Business. LaVerne is an Adjunct Professor with an PhD from New Testament Biblical Institute. She is the founder of laExpose' Productions which started from a blog, helping others get exposure who can't afford marketing and promotions, free.
Dr. LaVerne Adekunle received a commendation from past President Bill Clinton. In addition, she’s been recognized for serving a term in Gen. Colin Powell’s program America’s Promise which lead her to earn a Points of Light Award. LaVerne, served as the Promise Fellow contact person for the State of Arkansas. She has been an honored guest at many events and featured as a motivational speaker. Travel is one of her joys and some of her most impressive experiences have been in Europe, Caribbean, and Africa. LaVerne has been involved in numerous community services and ministry organizations since childhood. In 2014 she was honored and crowned a Nigerian Hi Chief in Accra, Ghana. Dr. LaVerne is an interesting story having survived extremely abusive relationships that sent her underground for a while has emerged determined to be mentally free and to become a successful entrepreneur. Dr. LaVerne and her son Macaiah founded FVRD2Win a Motivational Speakers Group specializing in domestic violence programs for men and women www.Fvrd2Win.org Macaiah, represents children who grow up victims of abuse.
Both speaks to domestic violence survivors across the country and enjoy using her skills to promote her charity organizations, Bingwa, Better Globe, and Heal The World — phenomenal charities.
