My life has been strangely blessed. My father left when I was 3 and I never saw him again. I’m sad I never met him later in life, but I know enough about him to understand that it was a blessing in disguise.

In college I met the man I would be married to for 29 years. I got pregnant in my freshman year and we got married after he graduated that year with a degree in business. We had two wonderful children and enjoyed a happy life together for all but the last two years.

We enjoyed financial success, lived in beautiful homes, traveled the world and had an active social life. As things began to fall apart, I moved to Maui to get away from the hurt and chaos that he had initiated. I hated Maui and whining to a friend, “Why didn’t I go to Bali where I feel at home?” she said, “Why don’t you go, there’s nothing keeping you in Maui.” So I called a Balinese friend who was managing a beautiful hotel, the Bali Spirit, and asked if he could give me a friend price on a room for a few months.

He said to come on over and stay for free. But in exchange, I would train his staff so they could compete with the high end hotels. It was a wonderful opportunity and I loved being there. While there, I realized I wanted to live there and make it my home. I designed a house, selected some property that was for lease, and started wrapping my mind around living there.

One of the problems of being in Bali is every two months you have to leave the country to renew your visa. So, I decided I’d go back to Santa Barbara and file for divorce (my husband didn’t want a divorce and wouldn’t file).

While I was in Bali, a wonderful man seduced me, realizing that I was hanging on to a marriage that was clearly over. It was a magical experience because he was a gifted lover and opened me to a whole new world. Wow…

So while I was in Santa Barbara, dealing with the divorce and other factors required to make my move to Bali, I started teaching a workshop. It was called “Embracing Our Sensual Selves”. Yes, there was a lot about sex in it, but it was also about sharing how my time in Bali had opened me up to all the glories and magic of being alive on this magnificent planet.

Because I loved teaching workshops, I realized I would not be able to do that in Bali. So I made the decision to stay in Santa Barbara. It’s turned out to be the best decision of my life. That’s because, now, after I ended a six year relationship with a lovely man who wasn’t the right man, I have met the man of my dreams. Well, that’s not really true, because he’s way beyond anything I ever dreamed possible.

So I write my books and articles, shoot videos, and teach workshops in order to guide you to become a Fabulous Feminine Female through the Magic of Feminine Grace™.
