An acclaimed Executive Management and Entrepreneurial Consultant noted for bringing innovative solutions to complex scenarios; Erik is also currently an Executive Vice President for Horizon Capital Management Group, LLC, an investor, business owner, and was formerly a Corporate Vice President in the Aerospace industry having worked in many positions during his career also including Vice President of Business Development, Director of Contracts, Program/Proposal/Contract Manager, Supply Chain Manager, and Procurement Supervisor.
He possesses vast experience in both R&D and Manufacturing environments. He is the recipient of numerous commendations, achievement awards, and citations from the Air Force, Army, and other Customers and was bestowed with the highest individual excellence award given by Hughes Aircraft Company.
Erik’s passion is in Integrative Holistic Healthcare, and he has studied holistic healing and spiritual physics for over 25 years receiving certifications in numerous modalities. Erik uses a complementary integrative approach to facilitate a personal healing, and proven holistic techniques in business practice.
Mr. Fulkerson has taught classes at UCLA in Government Contract Management, Negotiation, and Finance. He was a certified instructor for both the Raytheon Learning Institute and the Hughes Institute for Professional Development. He has designed and taught courses for employee development, corporate health & wellness, Contracts, Intellectual Property Rights, Proposal Capture Team Leadership, and Negotiations. He was one of a select group handpicked by Hughes Aircraft Company to lead the corporate wide implementation of SAP R3 and other ERP solutions. He has completed hundreds of hours in courses and seminars from Advanced Leadership to Finance, Accounting, Contracts, and Purchasing Management. He was a Political Science major with an emphasis in International Affairs and Terrorism. His Senior Paper was published based on the then noteworthy identification of vulnerabilities at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station to Terrorism.
Mr. Fulkerson is also a former Firefighter, Emergency Medical Technician, Swiftwater Rescue Technician, K9 SAR handler, professional river guide, published writer, and his photographic art work has been gallery exhibited in Santa Fe, NM.
Presently he serves as a volunteer in the USAF-Auxiliary as the Group 7 Director of Public Affairs responsible for 10 squadron Public Affairs Officers in Orange and San Diego Counties, California. He is a Pilot and mission experienced Search & Rescue Specialist.
Erik has served on the Board of Directors for three profit and three non-profit entities.
