Having an excellent education and high I.Q. an individualistic positive outlook and enjoying being a talented Poet,Writer and Musician,playing Guitar and Piano,Singer,Songwriter,Inventor,Philosopher and Visionary and having a many and varied career for the last thirty years, I found I could do practically anything that I set my mind to, Factory work, Office work, Government Departments,Saleswork,Advertising and Marketing,Wineries,New Zealand Railways, Self employment and more recently eleven years of furniture retailing, I made a promise to myself at forty nine years old and shaking my own hands, that I would change my life to be more meaningful by my fiftieth birthday. To live my dreams, to get M.A.D., and to Make A Difference.
I have always believed that one person can make a difference in the world.
It was while I was reading “A Course in Miracles “that I first received the inspiration for ‘A Positive Planet “To proactively promote positivity to the world by highlighting the good that is being done and to give people a more positive outlook for the future.To restore hope by providing a balance to the negative world view portrayed by the media.And hopefully save the world from a dark future.I realized that if I was not allied to any religious or political organization that I would be seen as neutral and nobody would have good reason to stop me. This was a very powerful realization. Here was something that I could bring my talents and abilities to. A life’s purpose that would see me happy to get up every morning and do.Something I could put my heart and soul into.
Since the first flash of inspiration to bring positivity to the planet and restore a balanced outlook, I collected thoughts and ideas on scraps of paper and collected them in a biscuit tin. Finally the call of the wild became very strong and I left the comfort of my career in furniture retailing and opened up the biscuit tin and revisited all my ideas for ‘A Positive Planet”.
I was ready to begin to bring it to the world and now every day the excitement is building.
I know who I am and what I must do. Now is the time and this is the place.
