I came into recovery coaching because of my issues around compulsive eating and co-dependence. I know about the pain, shame and guilt of loving someone with an addiction.
Not having someone to share with or worse yet sharing with someone who only wanted to offer "good advice" without really understanding my situation was one of the biggest challenges that I faced.
Today, my wellness and recovery practice focuses on coaching people through the process of loving themselves back to health. I use an integrated approach that takes into account a persons' unique bio-individuality. This means that we not only look at what a person is feeding their body but what they are feeding their mind and soul as well.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Health Studies, am certified as an Integrated Health Coach and Hypnotherapist. I received my training from the Northern New Mexico College of Nursing, The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and International Academy of Hypnotherapy. And I have over 25 years of personal experience in loving someone with an addiction.
Drawing on this knowledge, I help a person create a completely personalized “roadmap" to healthy codependence recovery, one that suits their unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
