The hopes for my life is to follow the quest for self realization and personal happiness. Life with its many challenges is our greatest teacher. I am constantly learning from these lessons. Choosing to improve myself by continuing in my personal and spiritual growth.
I have been involved in the self improvement movement for many years. I am an advocate for women and the struggles they faces as mothers and providers. I admire and look up to women that have been able to establish their own businesses and followed their dreams. It takes deep inner strength and passion to move forward.
Through a combined effort there is hope for change in the world. But this change must begin in yourself. In realizing your true self you find happiness and fulfillment in your everday life. This is how we begin to promote global change.
The process of self analysis is never an easy one. Admitting that you have been living a life not true to yourself is even harder. But many times the journey to this point is the most important part. We have grown and flourished and experienced so many things. This is your power source, your mantra. So if you hear that inner voice calling out to you, listen. It may be telling you it is time to move on, that there is something more for you out there. Do not ignore it! The time has come for your new beginning and the time is now.
A journey begins with a single step!
But my question is, in which direction?
It is an unusually cool and breeze day for a spring day in South Florida but just as good as any to begin my journey. I have been confronted by an aching desire to find my calling, my true self. I am bewildered with the ease that this answer eludes me. I believe that only reaching into my past, will I be able to find the secret path to find myself. It is in this journey itself that you must unravel, bit by bit, who you are. Will your essence be reveled as you peel back each layer? As you dig deeper than you ever have to reveal this person, will anything be left of the person you believe is you? Is the person that you know today just a by product of society and the pressures put upon you by it? What is reality? Who is the real you?
