You Are A Leader And So You Must Heal!

You have a story…

It is one of rejection…

It is a story of not being loved by the very ones that were supposed to love you – your parents to begin with and then it spread to those you learnt to trust – They proved unworthy of that trust…

And now you walk around wounded but you do not even know it.

I speak because I have lived this and I am still standing.  I speak because I see you…

I speak because I attract you, like a bee to honey, you sense that I have been through the same pain and your subconscious wants relief from your internal pain.

Pain so hidden that even you are not aware of it, most of the time.  Because you had to shut down.

It was the only way to stay standing.

And you have chosen to stay standing.  You refuse to let your story define you.

And so, you try to ignore the broken places inside and mostly, you can…

Until you realise that it keeps coming back to haunt you.  You realise that the same situations keep arising…

And you can hide from it as long as you do not speak to or see certain people but the moment you see them, things start to bubble up inside again and you have to do whatever you can to put the solid, yet brittle, hard shell back on.  You have to function…

There is work to be done and you do not have time to be broken.

However, you still are.

And it is a testament to your strength that you keep walking, that you keep functioning at an even higher level than most people who have not been through anything even close to the trauma you have experienced.

The thing is you think it is all normal.  You think the things that have happened to you are just the norm for most people so you do not want to whine about it.  It happened and it is in the past, or so you think…

You know that you are a highly functioning person, but you do not even realise just how strong you are, to keep doing what you do while having these internal battles.

The problem AND the great thing, honey, is that you are a leader.  The fact that you are leader means that, deep down, you have an urgent driving need to impact people.  Your wounds make you want to heal others and so, in order for you to have the impact and the wealth that you crave, you must heal.

It is that simple and yet, a huge problem for you.

YOU MUST HEAL!

And for you to heal, you must face the nonsense.  The dark places that scare you, the dark places that make you think that you will sink into them and never resurface…

Yes, you must face them.

And yes, I know that it scares you more than anything because you have finally managed to carve out some form of sanity in a world that can be pretty crazy.  And yet, it is time for you to face up to the fact that you must heal.

To have the impact you want to have, the impact you are born to have, YOU MUST HEAL!

To create the wealth you want, YOU MUST HEAL.

At the moment, you are uncertain whether you even deserve it and so you keep putting roadblocks in your own path and they are mostly things you are not aware of.

You stick with the job/career that is safe but soul-destroying …

You are too scared to build your personal brand because that could expose you to ridicule and shame again…

You are too scared to do what it takes to create wealth because the wealth you want could expose you to people who seek to harm you again…

Ultimately, you do a lot more stuff than the ‘norms’ around you but you hold back from playing full out because deep inside, the fear of being wounded again still holds you back…

I know this because I live this.

I have been unprotected and unsafe…

I have been unloved by those who ‘should’ have loved me…

I have worked through a lot of hurt and I still work through more…

I could tell you stories that would make your skin crawl and you sense it and so you are attracted because you want to be whole…

And I see you.

In fact, I call you…

I see the mantle of leadership on you…

Your wounds do not make you weak, they are a testament to your strength because you are still standing and frankly, doing it a whole lot better than those who have had a fairly cushy life to date…

I know that you are called to a great work…

And I also know that unless you do the internal work, you will continuously hit your head against the roadblocks and obstacles in your path

You will find it hard to do the external work that needs to be done to create the life you want…

The life that will impact many…

The wealth that will impact you and the ones you are called to serve…

You have been passively coasting for too long…

It is time to face down your internal demons and find healing…

So that you can step even more fully into your role as leader.

So that you can start your revolution…
