I've done many articles on creating an income boost via the low hanging fruit in your business. What does low hanging fruit really mean?
Well, it's those techniques that you can take advantage of that will help bring in cash flow and clients consistently into your business.
One question I get asked over and over again is how do I work 25-30 hour work week and keep cash flow coming in?
So I'm going to share with you one area of my marketing system that I have in place that even though many have in place, don't use it to their full advantage.
It's simple; it's powerful . . .
The key is in having automation and flow. It doesn't have to be difficult or overly complex or expensive to make this work correctly.
I know I attract many highly conscious and heart centered entrepreneurs and for you the task of marketing can seem daunting. I have a secret to share - It can even help those of us that are marketers!
When I switched my mindset from selling and getting more clients; to the mindset of connecting and serving my clients, (this is one of our modules in Mindset, Money & Marketing Mastery: Connect & Serve Selling) magic began to happen.
Why? Well, there is no push pull. You have set standards for others to show up and connect with you and you show up open and curious as the best person to help them move forward. You are in essence just connecting and serving. The money you make from them signing up and the transformations that occur are just a nice side gift!
So what is the best way to keep your passion-filled business thriving, while still enjoying your life outside of your business?
Here is my magic flow and process that will help keep your practice filled year round, YES, even while your playing! The key is in consistency and flow!
My simple system works a bit like this:
1. Target and send potential clients to my opt in page (see a great example here: www.DebraLarson.com through different traffic building strategies. I got hung up on this early on, keep it simple, send traffic via your email signature and your social media outlets, or even thru some inexpensive facebook advertising. This will help boost your online visibility.
2. When clients see my opt-in page first, and nothing else they really on have two choices:
1.) enter their name and email to receive a free gift or
2.) enter my website and once they do that they have the option of getting a different free gift! It's a win-win because this builds my email list and lets me know they're interested in learning more, and they are getting a chance to get to know me and my services a bit.
3. Potential clients get my free gift. I give high value material, so I know they enjoy the benefits of putting the material into action, and this makes them hungry for more. (If not that means they aren't my perfect client, so that is okay too!!)
4. From there one or two things will happen in the flow. Within one of my autoresponders, I will invite them to a Breakthrough Session with me or one of my team members, or send them to a sales page where they can purchase one of my programs or products online.
5. Sometimes potential clients want to talk to our team before they buy which I encourage! At this point, they are getting to know you, they've had some type of experience with you, and they are just steps from joining one of your services or stepping into one of your programs.
6. Give out highly relevant, valuable, content driven articles or, get creative thru quotes, videos, other affiliates and information through your e-zine. Your potential clients will more than likely be intrigued, and want to stay on your list to receive more good information. It doesn't have to be complicated. I love quotes so you could give out great quotes in between writing your articles and sharing other affiliate products with them.
The point is to stay in touch, so they get to know you better, enjoy more valuable gifts and when the time is right, they will enroll in your programs.
The first thing you need to do is be in touch and know who your perfect client/avatar is and what transformations they will get, what solutions you have to their pressing problems to get them from point A to point B.
Just this simple step of inspiring prospective clients to opt in to your free gift and onto your list could change your business. The high conversions come when you speak your clients language and give them the gift that is in alignment with their challenges, but the magic comes in when you connect with them at a deeper level that has them wanting to step into your programs.
I am going to be candid in sharing with you that I disconnected from my list for a bit, and it was almost like cutting off the oxygen to that one pipeline into my business. Thank goodness, I had another pipeline (project) that I was working on that was happily fueled. Don't worry, I am happy to bring all that I have learned over to you now, which I wasn't able to before. And, that is so exciting to me!!!
By being connected on a consistent basis, you will have a happy, responsive and engaged list that will enable your new Connect & Serve marketing skills work with you and flow. Anytime you go to launch a new program and/or event, your list will be excited to step up and curious as to what new and fun thing are you bringing to the table.
You will want to have your sales pages, teleseminars and free discovery/breakthrough sessions work together to help potential clients say YES to themselves and to you! This really is when your converting sales start to spike. Otherwise, you will just have a big list, but no sales and what's the point of all your efforts if this happens?
So what do you do first?
Don't worry, if you don't have a product or program, you don't have to go into panic mode. You can do that later.
Right now, I want you to set up or go back through your old opt-in and make sure it really speaks to your perfect customer. It doesn't have to be long, it can be a letter format or video - it does not matter. Combine the two, and you probably will have something really hot!
Begin asking everyone including partners, new collaborations to help spread the word and get some fun new traffic over to your site.
Then consistently stay in touch with them, one way or another. Give out good information. Be bold and ask them to step up from time to time to connect with you on further training or a discovery session. Nurture your subscribers and encourage them to stay on your list by giving them consistent value.
Remember to have fun with this process! Stay open and curious to what is happening with your clients by staying in-tune to their needs. Don't go into this by getting new clients, because that won't feel good if it does work, and my guess it won't. Clients are savvy and there is a lot being offered out there right now. Stand out amongst the crowd by doing what you do best and that is sharing your expertise with potential clients that will soon be your paying clients.
Be excited about sharing your message with the world and sharing your gifts, your unique brilliance! There are many that are just waiting for you!
