Where are you taking your HOLIDAY RENTALS IN COSTA DEL SOL and what have you planned? Holidaying is about relaxing and fun, taking the stress of work, family rows or just getting away from it all. Costa del Sol is one of those areas in Spain that can help burn up excess energies tiring out the body so when night does fall you’re able to drag yourself off to bed and fall into deep sleep. So what is it that is available for the average tourist? No doubt there are tourist historians, those that love the ancient sites, castles, cathedrals, old Roman archaeological digs or just old buildings in general. Then others like a little more adventure and love the outside, clambering mountains looking for fantastic views magnificent scenery. Or there is the classic holiday lying on sandy beaches, venturing out in the evening for a meal in a local restaurant. Everyone has their own idea for an ideal relaxing holiday. So here are a few of my ideas to get the juices flowing.
Surfing had been popular since before the Beach boys introduced surf music to the world. An extension of surfing has in the last few years reappeared called “stand-up paddle board”. The origins of the sport are lost in antiquity. Originally the Hawaiians both paddled and surfed in ancient times. “Stand-up paddle board” uses all the core muscles so as far as exercise goes makes for an all round fun exercise. While on the beach though there are other sports or fun things to do. Parasailing tied to the back of a speeding powerboat with a parachute perhaps. Ray boarding is where you hang tightly to a flat board which in turn is tied to the back of a power boat and then drags the rider through the waves; depending on how the board is moved will take the rider underwater 'flying' through the waves. Canoeing and kayaking are both more renowned as water sports and along with the ever popular jet skiing can be found all along the coast. Another new form of water traversing is aqua skipping although usually played out on lakes. It turns the rider into a human powered hydrofoil, looking like a trike without wheels and engine and is used not dissimilarly to a pogo stick.
If the vigorous even strenuous suggestions here are a little too much, then other water connected fun things to do would be the dolphin and whale trips, where with other members of the public you’re taken on a boat out into the deeper waters of the Mediterranean Sea and Bay of Gibraltar. Here whales and dolphins are often spotted so armed with your camera you can happily click away at these marvellous sea creatures in their own habitat doing what whales and dolphins do best. One of the few fun things mentioned in this article that is ideal for all members of the family and not just those that are over 12 years of age. It’s a great fun day out especially while on your HOLIDAY RENTALS IN COSTA DEL SOL.
