The number of colon therapy establishments has increased tremendously. Like finding a doctor or a dentist, having so many to choose from can create overwhelm. To simplify your search, today you will learn about the 10-steps you can take for choosing the right colon therapist.
A Normal Experience
Clients come into my office recounting the same familiar story:
I am having digestive issues. My stomach is hurting. My right side is painful to the touch. When I eat food, it makes me feel nauseated. I constantly feel like I want to throw up. I have frequent migraine headaches. At nightfall, I cannot sleep and I have chills running through my body. The pain keeps me awake at night. I try to use the restroom but nothing comes out. I push and I strain but nothing comes out. I take laxatives in hopes that they will produce major results. I wait a few hours with expectation that something will release but minimal feedback takes place. I am miserable. I am tired. I am frustrated with my primary care. As a last resort I want to try a colonic.
Common Questions
A person with digestive turmoil usually has a few questions at the onset of making a decision to try colon therapy. Common questions include: Who do I call? What should I ask? When should I go? Where is the closest establishment? Which one do I choose? How much longer should I wait to find relief from all this misery I feel on the inside?
10-Step Guide
Prior to having digestive issues, take time to explore your digestive wellness options as a maintenance plan for your body. This time will empower you to use a sound mind when making a decision to employ a colon therapist. Either way, the following 10-step guide is provided to help you find the right colon therapist for your colon health needs:
Step 1: Take out a piece of paper and write down your answers to these actions steps. If you try to keep the answers in your head, it will create further frustration when trying to make a decision toward the right colon therapist.
Step 2: Decide your reasoning for wanting a colonic. The reasons could include Your having digestive pain on the left side of your body. Or some other reasons could include You having sensitivity to touch in different areas of your stomach. AND eating certain foods has caused you to have diarrhea for the last 2 months. As a solution, you feel like cleansing your colon will produce healing from your problem.
Step 3: Determine the goal(s) you would like to achieve during each session. For example, You may want to begin having bowel movements at least one time per day or you are seeking consistent relief from digestive pain.
Step 4: Write down questions you have about colonic pricing, policy, protocol and procedure. Some common questions are How much does it cost? What takes place during the first appointment? What should I do to prepare for the session?
Step 5: Search places like Google, Yelp, Yahoo, Yellow Pages, or the like, for a local colon therapist. Use the Internet like a telephone book. Just place the words colon therapy along with your city and state into the search bar to find an establishment within your area.
Step 6: Once you receive your search results from each one of the mediums in step 5, Pick 3 – 5 therapists from the list that are closely located to your search area.
Step 7: Read the therapist reviews and use them to narrow your search based on your colonic reasons, goals and questions developed in steps 2 – 4, above. Reading other customer reviews will further support your decision to use one therapist over another. A customer may report on a similar pain experience or goal you are trying to achieve and how the therapist was able to help them find relief. This review will further support your decision.
Step 8: Visit the therapist website to secure additional answers in support of your colonic reasons, goals and questions. The search listings and customer reviews are limited to how much can be said within the listing. If you go to the website, the therapist should have a wealth of information to support your questions, a frequently asked questions page, their pricing structure and an ability to either set up and purchase a colonic on the site or a contact page for you to make an inquiry.
Step 9: Upon visiting a thorough website, you should have only 1 – 2 therapist from which to choose and minimal questions on your list. Call or email the establishment for answers to your remaining questions. Based on customer service, response time, professionalism and a feeling of comfort you are now equipped to choose your therapist.
Step 10: Book your session. If you are experiencing pain and you have taken the previous 9 steps to find the right therapist, there is no need to experience pain for an additional 30 days while waiting to have a colonic session. A colon therapist is available to help you alleviate the suffering and is sure to find a nearby appointment time slot to accommodate both of your schedules. In the meantime, try to plan for a minimum series of 3 – 5 sessions, however, NEVER EVER let money be an obstacle. If you can only afford one session it is better than having zero sessions when experiencing colon distress.
