Too many companies are under the impression that having out-of-the-ordinary exhibition booths are selling their products. While this may be true depending on where you are, it is usually best to keep things simple. Staying simple can actually help showcase your product, service and fit your customers. Simple does not mean being boring, so talk to a company that creates trade show booths designed by salon professionals to get ideas on a concept.
Your trade show booths do not have to be bright: Instead, let your employees shine
Having bright trade show booths can certainly spark interest, but that's not the only way to get attention. Instead of having loud music and strobe lights, let your employees generate interest. If you have professional and hard-working employees, they will bring customers on their own. Make sure that employees working at your booth are knowledgeable about your products, the history of your business, what sets you apart from your competitors, and what your customers are looking for. On the other hand, there is no reason that you cannot use lighting and music to enhance your exhibition space. Just take care to keep the volume to a reasonable level and use the lighting to highlight some of your products. Avoid stroboscopes because some people are sensitive to them and they could cause them headaches.
Your exhibition booth must be uncluttered
Creating a sleek atmosphere and clean design for your booth should be the ultimate goal. You want your booth to be welcoming and open to the public, not the other way around. Take care that your I/D staff is well positioned for your banners and literature supports so that space is not cluttered near the main aisle. After all, customers will not be able to visit your booth if there are any inconvenient components.
Keep your booth organized
Chances are good that you have won a lot of extra promotional materials. Things like prospect cards, business cards, customer brochures and other documents needed for your exhibition. The problem is that no one knows exactly how many of these promotional items you will need. You can spend thousands at an exhibition and then at the next you will have a hard time giving a hundred. For this reason, it is always a good idea to have more than enough. The cost of transporting additional promotional items to your event is not worth it at all. If you find yourself lacking anything for your customers, it can result in very negative opinion of your disorganized business.
This is where your I/D team is a great help. They often have two storage sections, one for your cribs that are not accessible throughout the event and another that is more accessible for your promotional items, for example. What exactly does this place look like? This is a storage area where staff can store things that exhibitors need to have access to during the event. If you do not know where it is, ask your I / D team. Your business will probably have its own dedicated space. Otherwise, plan some storage space inside your booth.
The creation of stands for efficient trade shows should not be a problem. Think about the type of message you want to convey and work with a company that designs functional kiosks for your needs. You will find yourself with a professional design that will not fail to attract attention.
