How are blackheads formed?

Blackheads are formed when the pores of your skin become clogged along with dead skin cells and excess oil from sebaceous glands in your body.

As you probably already know that scratching popping or picking any type of acne is widely considered off-limits, you may still want to use one or the other form of extraction methods to get rid of blackheads.

You must have seen or noticed that there has been an increase in the use of extraction tools and masks that promise home-based post cleaning. These tools often remove the essential elements that actually help your skin in one or the other way.

These include hair follicles and natural oils. Removing these oils can cause dried or irritated skin.

While you still need to wash your face twice per day, using a cleanser with salicylic acid is highly recommended. You can always start using it before going to bed followed by using your regular face wash.

4. Start using a skin brush

7. Avoid sleeping in makeup

After partying for a long time, makeup removal is the last thing you would want to do at night. However, if you do not remove your makeup before sleeping, you are giving an open invitation to blackheads.

Not forget the eye makeup which can lead to irritated or infected eyes if left on overnight.
