What do you perceive necessary in order for you to be inspired and successful? Well let’s begin by looking at inspiration. Inspiration is anything that generates a willingness to accomplish something in a wonderful way. It includes “Only the best outcomes” and is leaving all doubts aside. What is most important regarding inspiration is that it invokes an attitude of “I can do this!” Or something like, “I am going to do this!”
Inspiration isn’t about knowing how. Inspiration is listening to your higher self and making decisions to have, experience, or do something that you have always dreamed about exploring. You may be inspired initially as what appears to be a daydream or a fleeting thought; and yet instantly you were transformed in some manner that was truly profound. Let’s say something important to you includes traveling (to Hawaii, India, or Switzerland; or perhaps you prefer visiting some place romantic, adventurous, or that offers a particular area of study that you are interested in pursuing). In one moment of accepting that you are considering traveling, is accepting your inspiration as a possibility of choices available to you. In that one moment, you actually inspired yourself to step out of your comfort zone and achieve something enjoyable and worthwhile.
In order to for us to be successful in anything (travel, relationships, financial endeavors, health and well-being, or our education aspirations), we need to take appropriate steps to help our inspiration become a reality. Whatever is of interest to us requires our following through on achieving what it is that we wish to accomplish. If we allow our wishes and fantasies to fulfill themselves without any specific time frame, that is kind of like taking a passive route on the pathway to success. Success requires being inspired, motivated, and deciding to be disciplined and keep moving forward until we have accomplished our goal. Then we pretty much begin the process on the next area of interest.
Each time we step closer towards achieving our inspirations and goals, is aligning ourselves into excelling and growing into higher levels of knowledge and contribution. Clearly this approach is the basis of all goals. When we can look at our goals and decide, “I’m not stopping until I have all of the goodness available to me,” by pursuing this goal until it is positively achieved. And yes, sometimes we encounter obstacles along the way. These obstacles are appearing only to show us that in order to achieve our goals means we will find a way to move past the objection. Objections are based in fear; which is showing us what our mindset is really focused on. In order to be successful requires gently moving past the fear.
When the fear shows up, it is presenting an opportunity for us to refocus and reapply a positive intention that we can easily and peacefully achieve our goal(s). Each time fear shows up, take a moment and ask yourself, “What is the next step necessary in accomplishing my goal?” By stopping and re-evaluating the situation in a positive manner, is allowing us to keep going. When we look at, “What’s the next step?” we are looking at having a positive resolution, instead of focusing on the apparent problem. If we are fixated on the problem, the goal won’t be able to manifest. We can either spend our time focusing on the problem, or we can move into higher energy, and get serious about having the goal achieved.
Tips for success includes reviewing past successes, considering benefits of positively completing tasks that will help us stay on track, and re-evaluating time frame. Do stop periodically and review project tasks and hold in mind the end result. Be willing to ask for recommendations or go to library (or other place of appropriate information gathering) and seek out finding even better ways of resolving whatever challenges that are temporarily stopping you and your project from moving forward. Also consider delegating tasks which is empowering to you and to others. You may even decide to work with others (internal or external to the project), so the project continues to move forward in a more productive manner. Also remember to be in gratitude for recommendations from others and for their ongoing support. And most importantly, be appreciative of your positive contributions and attitude of being successful.
Notice none of the above recommendations include stopping, complaining, or criticizing. Frustration leads to inactivity. Instead of believing you can’t accomplish your goal, change your focus away from negative outcomes. If we are making excuses, this is also causing our projects and goals to be delayed or poorly completed, which creates more work in the long run. Be determined to be successful at all times. Continue to motivate yourself and inspire yourself by asking, “Could this get even better?” Hold in mind you are safe to achieve your goals. Be willing to be successful. Do step out of your comfort zone and amaze everyone, including yourself. Tip the scale from mediocrity to awesome!
